Domain Registration and Renewal Terms
These terms apply to domains registered, renewed, transferred, or managed through Mvision Web and Msimanga Hosting.
1. Our role
We resell domain registration and renewal services through registrars such as ZA Domains / Absolute Hosting. We are not the registry. The registry and registrar rules also apply, and they may change.
2. Registration
Registration is subject to availability, registry acceptance, and correct information. We do not guarantee that a domain will be available or that a registration will be accepted. A domain is registered only after the registry confirms it.
3. Client details
You must provide accurate registrant, admin, and technical contact details, and keep them up to date. Incorrect details can cause suspension, loss of the domain, or failed verification. You are responsible for responding to registrar or registry verification requests.
4. Transfers
Domain transfers require the correct authorisation or EPP code and are subject to registrar and registry rules. Transfers can take several days. We do not guarantee a transfer until it is complete.
5. Renewals and expiry
We will invoice you before the renewal date where possible. You must pay on time. We do not guarantee that a reminder will reach you. If a domain expires, it may enter a grace, redemption, or deletion period, and you may lose it. You are responsible for keeping the domain renewed.
6. DNS and nameservers
You control the nameservers and DNS records for your domain, unless you ask us to manage them. For hosting with us, use the nameservers we provide. DNS propagation can take time and is outside our control.
7. Fees and refunds
Domain registration, renewal, and transfer fees are generally non-refundable once submitted to the registrar, because the registry charges us. If a registration fails, we will refund the fee or offer an alternative. Chargebacks may lead to suspension.
8. Disputes
Domain disputes are handled under the relevant registry dispute policy, including UDRP or ZA registry rules. You warrant that your domain does not infringe another party's rights. You indemnify us against trademark, passing-off, and domain dispute claims.
9. Abuse
You may not use a domain for cybersquatting, impersonation, phishing, malware, illegal content, or trademark infringement. We may suspend or transfer a domain where required by a registry, registrar, court, or law enforcement.
10. Liability
We are not liable for registry or registrar acts, verification failures, expiry, redemption, loss of a domain, or DNS propagation. Our liability is subject to the limitations in our Terms and Conditions.
11. Changes
We may update these terms when registrar, registry, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page.
